Zinc & oak

Adjustable work tables for an artisan florist to run workshops and projects from, plus stands and display pieces. Zinc provides a perfect work surface for the damp, messy business of flower arranging. It has worn in very well over the years it developed a fabulous patina. The solid oak trestles provide a stable base, extension pieces allow for two different working heights.

Materials: 1mm pure Zinc; Eurpoean oak; 18mm birch ply; Fiddes Waxoil Satin

Shed

The client’s growing family needed extra room, and a large, adaptable space at the end of the garden was the obvious solution. Clad in larch with a living roof, it is fully insulated and double glazed, with electric points and a woodburner, it has created a beautiful versatile space for both cosying up in winter and enjoying the garden in the summer.

Materials: Larch cladding; EPDM roofing membrane for sedum roof; reclaimed windows; pine floor; birch ply walls

Built in wardrobes

Fabulous bespoke fitted wardrobes for the client’s home. Satin white shaker style panel doors, with lovely light oiled birch ply interior. A wealth of storage solutions including hanging space, shelving, drawers and plenty of space for shoes!

Oak stools

My client wanted chunky hardwood breakfast bar stools with foot rests of varying heights for his kids. The exposed wedged tenons from the legs on the seat top reflect the clients love of traditional green woodworking techniques. The european oak has a wonderful rich colour, the stools are extremely hard wearing and age beautifully over time.

Over the years has become a signature piece for me due to it’s popularity, you can try one out for yourself in the Fox &Goose pub in Hebden Bridge.
