Kitchen

Lovely cool maple kitchen, we love working with clients who have a clear vision and want to collaborate to make fantastic things, and this kitchen is no exception. The crisp modern feeling with the lovely light maple timber works so well, plenty of storage space and extra large pantry cupboard at the end creates a perfect space for a growing family.

Materials: Garnica maple faced poplar ply; solid maple shelves and lippings; White himacs worktops;
Blum soft close hinges and drawer runners.

WARDROBES & STORAGE

Made to measure wardrobes and storage for awkward areas, we take on all sizes of projects from an under stairs project, boiler box, pantry shelving up to full bedroom fitouts and walk in wardrobe projects. High quality oiled birch ply interiors make lovely warm, light places for storage, and we can offer creative design ideas for external finishes, from modern colourful flat laminate finishes to mid-century modern style, to traditional shaker style panel doors and trims.

Waxoil; Blum soft close hinges, drawer runners.

GARDEN ROOMS & EXTENSIONS

We have designed and built many garden rooms, extensions, saunas and sheds over the years. We are experts in American ‘stick’ style timber framing, can build surprising structures in the tightest of spaces, with a wide range of materials options available we can help you find the extra living and working space you need.

Materials: Ground screws; larch and cedar cladding; birch ply walls and ceilings; engineered oak floors; EPDM rubber membrane and sedum/living roof systems; aluminium bifold doors and windows.

HERITAGE & HARDWOODS

We undertake heritage restoration projects and repair works. We built a front desk for the entrance lobby of the Birchcliffe Centre in Hebden Bridge made from historic reclaimed oak panels that had been removed during upgrades. We carefully repurposed the panels, cunningly merging old timber into new using traditional stains waxes and finishes. The front desk now sits in the newly finished entrance as if it has been there since the beginning!

Materials: Reclaimed panels and pews from Birchcliffe Centre; Solid oak 4 piece worktop; Birch ply
cabinets; Blum hinges and drawer runners.

Oak stools

My client wanted chunky hardwood breakfast bar stools with foot rests of varying heights for his kids. The exposed wedged tenons from the legs on the seat top reflect the clients love of traditional green woodworking techniques. The european oak has a wonderful rich colour, the stools are extremely hard wearing and age beautifully over time.

Over the years has become a signature piece for me due to it’s popularity, you can try one out for yourself in the Fox &Goose pub in Hebden Bridge.

Materials: European oak; Fiddes Waxoil.

Zinc & oak

Adjustable work tables for an artisan florist to run workshops and projects from, plus stands and display pieces. Zinc provides a perfect work surface for the damp, messy business of flower arranging. It has worn in very well over the years it developed a fabulous patina. The solid oak trestles provide a stable base, extension pieces allow for two different working heights.

Materials: 1mm pure Zinc; Eurpoean oak; 18mm birch ply; Fiddes Waxoil Satin.

We are a small, friendly firm who work closely with clients, builders and designers to produce high quality products to improve homes and businesses from our workshop in Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire.
